Each executive officer of the club may nominate a Chief of Staff to support them in carrying out their executive duties. Chief of Staff nominees must be confirmed by a majority vote of the club. Chiefs of Staff do not have voting power.
They support their executive board member
Attend meetings in place of the member
Debrief the member on agenda items, actions items and more before and after meetings
Ensure the executive officer is working on the most important items for the club
Help complete priority items for the executive officer to an appropriate level of quality.
Keep the executive officer accountable for commitments, while helping keep reports accountable for results.
Keep the executive officer accessible and open to new ideas and proposals
